Rod Stewart Reconnects with Producer Kevin Savigar

Rod Stewart Another CountryProducer/songwriter/keyboardist Kevin Savigar is once again teaming up with Rod Stewart on his forthcoming album, Another Country. Savigar co-wrote most of the album with Stewart including the new single, “Love Is”, which reached #1 on the BBC Radio2 singles chart. Together they recorded the album at Stewart’s home to create a more intimate and inspirational environment. Another Country is available everywhere on October 23rd.

 

The collaboration between Savigar and Stewart is responsible for such hits as “Forever Young”, “Young Turks”, “Passion”, “Tonite I’m Yours”, “Every Beat Of My Heart”, and more. Joining the band in 1978, Kevin can even be spotted manning an elaborate keyboard set up in Stewart’s “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?” music video. Transitioning from the live band to the studio, Savigar collaborated with Stewart on Foolish Behaviour, selling more than 5,000,000 copies worldwide. The collaboration continued through Stewart’s 2013 studio album TIME where Savigar co-wrote six songs and co-produced the album.
