New Beatcan App Makes Personal Videos Awesome

LOS ANGELES, CA– Beatcan debuts its new free app this week in the iTunes store. The app targets people wanting to take their personal videos to the next level by adding high quality audio tracks and easily share them with family and friends.

Inspired by the action sports videos commonly associated with Red Bull, X Games, and Mountain Dew, the designers over at Beatcan set out to create an app that lets anybody create similar videos without all the major production costs. The user interface is simple and focused so users can quickly utilize the app anywhere, be it at the end of an epic snowboard run or a baby’s first steps. Its straightforward trim feature provides flexibility to conveniently select 15 or 60 second video segments that are easily sharable to the user’s social media accounts.

There is a library of free music that can be used by anyone with the app along with additional themed music libraries, each with eight tracks for $1.99. All audio tracks are made by professional producers and all music is royalty-free and cleared worldwide to eliminate any confusion of usage rights in any type of project.

Founded by Swedes Andy Andersson (musician, songwriter, producer and lead guitarist for the multi-platinum, American rock band Fuel) and Peter Jidesten (creative director, entrepreneur and investor), they have created a unique service that removes the headaches with traditional licensing services and expedites the time of finding the right composition at just a click of the button.
